What we can't promise
- Decrypting files locked by ransomware. Sometimes a free decryptor exists; often it doesn't, and only a backup brings files back.
- Recovering money lost to scams. That is a matter for your bank and the cyber crime police.
- Installing pirated Windows or software. Cracked copies are a common source of malware in the first place.
- That an infection won't return. Risky downloads and reused passwords can bring it back, so we explain how to avoid that.

How do I know if my computer has a virus?
Common signs are pop-ups, a browser that changes by itself, unknown programs, antivirus that has been switched off and unexplained slowness. Slowness alone is often caused by a full or failing drive, too little RAM or overheating, so we check the hardware too.
Is Windows’ built-in antivirus enough?
For most home users, Microsoft Defender (Windows Security) gives good everyday protection when Windows is kept updated. Safe habits matter just as much: download software only from official sites, don't open unexpected attachments, and use different passwords for important accounts.
Will removing a virus delete my files?
A normal clean-up doesn't remove your personal files. If a full reinstall is needed, the drive is wiped, which is why we back up your files first with your permission and restore them afterwards.
Can you remove ransomware and get my files back?
We can remove the ransomware itself and make the computer safe to use. Getting the locked files back is often impossible without a backup; we check whether a free decryptor exists for that variant. Don't pay the ransom, as there is no guarantee you will get anything back.
Why is my laptop so slow even without a virus?
The usual reasons are an old hard drive, too little RAM, too many start-up programs, a nearly full drive or dust causing overheating. An SSD or RAM upgrade often makes a bigger difference than any software clean-up.
Should I reinstall Windows instead of removing the virus?
Not always. A clean-up is quicker and keeps your apps and settings. A clean reinstall is the safer choice after ransomware, a remote-access scam or a deep infection, because it removes anything the scan might have missed.
How much does a virus removal cost?
It depends on the infection, whether a backup or reinstall is needed and how much data there is. Most clean-ups fall in the ₹500 – ₹5,000 range, and you approve the quote before we start.
