For study and office work, look for an SSD (not a hard disk), at least 8 GB of RAM, a Full HD screen and a battery that lasts a working day. A light, well-built laptop matters more than a powerful graphics card for this kind of use.

A gaming desktop gives you more performance for the same money, runs cooler and quieter, and is easy to upgrade later. A gaming laptop makes sense only if you need to carry it, for example between home and hostel.

Yes, when they are properly tested and come with a warranty. A good refurbished business laptop is often better built than a new budget model at the same price.

It depends on the fault and whether a part has to be ordered for your model. Simple jobs are faster; jobs that need a specific part take longer. Your quote states the expected time: same day to 3 working days.

Repair it if the fault is in one replaceable part, such as the power supply, hard drive or RAM, and the PC still does what you need. Consider replacing it if the motherboard or processor has failed on an old system, or if the repair would cost more than about half of a comparable new PC.

An upgrade (SSD and more RAM) often makes an older desktop feel new for much less. We will tell you honestly which option makes sense. See upgrades or new desktops.

The usual causes are a faulty charger, a worn battery or a loose or damaged charging port (power jack). Try another compatible charger first; if the laptop still won't charge, the battery or port needs checking.

Switch it off straight away, unplug the charger and remove the battery if it comes out. Do not switch it on to "test" it and do not use a hair dryer; bring it to us as soon as you can.

Liquid causes corrosion over hours and days, so quick cleaning improves the chances of a full repair. Read about liquid damage repair.

Common causes are malware, too many startup programs, a nearly full drive, an old hard disk or too little RAM. Most slow computers can be fixed with a clean-up, an SSD upgrade or more memory.

We check part availability for your exact MacBook model before quoting. Some MacBook repairs need complete assemblies, which we explain in the quote before any work starts.

It depends on the laptop model, screen size, resolution, panel type and whether it is a touchscreen. Most replacements fall in the ₹500 – ₹5,000 range, and we confirm the exact price after checking your model.

Yes. We check the device first, explain the fault and give you the price and expected time. No repair work starts until you approve the quote.

Often, yes. Whether files can be recovered depends on the type of failure: deleted files and corrupted drives usually recover well, while drives with physical damage are harder. Stop using the drive straight away, because every use can make recovery harder.

Most hardware repairs, such as a screen, battery or charging port, do not touch your storage drive. Repairs that involve reinstalling Windows or replacing the drive can affect your files, and we tell you before we start.

If your computer still works, back up important files first, or ask us to do it for you.

Stop using the computer or drive, and do not install recovery software on the same drive, because new data can overwrite the deleted files. Bring it to us, or the external drive it was on, as soon as possible.

Copy your documents, photos and other important folders to an external drive or a cloud service such as OneDrive or Google Drive. Check that the copies open before you hand the laptop over.

We can also make a backup for you; see backup services.

Technicians only open your files when the job requires it, for example data recovery or a backup, and we ask you first. You can also remove sensitive files or tell us which folders are private.

Yes. Repairs come with a warranty of 90 days on parts and labour on the replaced part and our work. The warranty details are written on your invoice.

It does not cover new physical damage (drops, cracks, pressure), liquid spills after the repair, or faults in parts we did not repair or replace. Software problems caused by later changes are also not covered.

Yes. Our refurbished computers come with 90 days on parts and labour, and the exact cover is written on your invoice. Keep the invoice safe for any claim.

Bring the device back with your invoice while it is under warranty. We check it, and if the fault is covered we fix it again under the terms of the warranty.

Yes. We look after desktops and laptops for small offices and shops, either as one-off jobs or on an annual maintenance contract (AMC).
